. Tai Chi Theory and Workshop
This class teaches the 20 most important tai chi topics in the Ji Hong Tai Chi System. Students will learn the theory underlying each topic and how to continue training in order to successfully incorporate each topic in their tai chi movements and forms. Benefits of the class: A deeper appreciation of the various components of Tai Chi.This ongoing workshop provides a complete examination of key concepts and principles of Tai Chi Chuan such as relaxation, abdominal breathing, the dan tian, pressure, Yin and Yang, mind training, direct energy, body adjustment, Tai Chi Gong, as well as the key features of the Ji Hong Tai Chi System such as the ‘five bow theory’ and ‘bone-line stretching’. It clarifies and explains each, and then uses concrete training exercises to develop and apply the concepts and principles to bodily adjustments and movements that are basic to all tai chi forms and activities. The course is intended for students who want to seriously study and understand Tai Chi Chuan regardless of their level of ability in Tai Chi.
